This year, we are experiencing Holy Week at home, and following the steps of Jesus together from a distance. Each day of Holy Week, one of our ministers is leading a daily reflection by video. These are posted at 7:00am on Monday-Thursday and Noon on Friday and Saturday, and are available on Facebook or on our "Holy Week At Home" page here.
Along with these reflections, we are encouraging the entire congregation to make use of a resource called Holy Week Tenebrae -- a home-based devotional booklet. It contains five devotionals you can complete on your own, or with family. Click here for the e-copy.
See below for this week's schedule and other reminders.
Recent worship services are available on our "Stay Connected" page, by clicking the "Virtual Worship" box. View or share past services, with prayer, music, sermon and gifts shared from across the whole of our church community.
40+ members of our congregation have committed to reach out to other church members throughout these days of distance. As we regularly assess needs in our congregation and community, please let us know if you'd like to be a part of the Care Team by filling out the form at fbcgso.org/care-team
Our entire staff is maintaining regular remote office hours, and is accessible by phone. Call the church (336.274.3286) and dial the extension of the person you wish to reach, or dial "0" for the general mailbox. All messages will forward immediately and will be returned as soon as possible. While extensions can be searched via first name, as a reminder, extensions for staff are available here under the photos of each staff member.
Covenant of Concerns
As a community, we hold each other in prayer and love.
