HOLY WEEK AND EASTER

Palm Sunday Services – March 29

8:15 a.m. | Chapel

10:30 a.m. | Sanctuary & Online

Palm/Passion Sunday gathers us at the threshold of Holy Week –

where hosannas rise and falter and we follow Christ from the waving

of branches into the deep, steadfast mystery of love poured out for the life of the world.

Palm Sunday Procession – March 29

9:30 a.m. | Outdoor Blessing of the Palms and Procession

The churches along Pine Street gather as one, beginning outside

St. John’s Episcopal Church. After a brief service and the combined choirs singing Hosanna, we move together from Pine to 15th to Pearl

to Broadway – through the city with palms waving, Covenant banners carried, kites lifting hope, and a costumed donkey – before returning to our own Sanctuary to process in while we sing “All Glory, Laud, and Honor.”

Maundy Thursday – April 2

5:00 p.m. | Chapel

A Service of Foot Washing and Holy Communion

On this holy evening we remember Jesus kneeling with basin and towel, washing the feet of his friends. We also gather at the table of the Last Supper, where bread is broken and the cup is shared, a meal of remembrance and covenant love. In this quiet service of prayer and simple ritual, those who wish are invited to receive or offer the washing of feet as a sign of Christ’s humble love.

Maundy Thursday – April 2

7:00 p.m. | Sanctuary & Online

A Service of Shadows with Holy Communion

Through Scripture, song, and the gradual dimming of light, we remember Jesus’ Last Supper, his prayers in the garden, and the unfolding path toward the cross.

Good Friday – April 3

6:00 p.m. | Chapel

A solemn service of Scripture, silence, and song as we keep vigil at the cross and trust God’s presence even in the depths of suffering.

Easter Sunday – April 5

9:00 & 11:00 a.m. | Sanctuary & Online (9:00 a.m. Online)

Brass! Bells! Choir! Flowers! Great Easter hymns lead us to the empty tomb as we proclaim the Good News of Christ’s Resurrection.

Extended musical preludes begin at 8:45 and 10:45 a.m.

Childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers is available

during worship.

Easter Fellowship Hour and Craft Fair – April 5

10:00 a.m. | Plymouth Hall

Between the joy of Easter worship, we invite you to linger a little longer

to share in a festive time of fellowship, food, and conversation.

We welcome contributions to our shared table, sweet or savory, simple or special. Sign up here. For those who are young and young-at-heart, be sure to wander into our crafting corner. We'll have fun Easter crafts, coloring, and origami, and all are welcome. Come, stay, and celebrate the day in good company.
