Holy Week at Crosstown
Good Friday will be based around "Stations of the Cross" and will include Scripture readings, worship music and pictures for reflection. Candles will be extinguished throughout, symbolizing the coming darkness that accompanied Jesus' death. There will be an opportunity to wash away the stain of our sin at the cross of Jesus, as well as other spiritual exercises that are intended to help us go deeper with the events of Good Friday.
“Christ has been raised from the dead.”
In these seven words from I Corinthians 15:20, we hear the anchor and foundation of our faith in Jesus Christ! Truly, Jesus’ resurrection is the MAIN EVENT that gives substance and meaning to our lives TODAY as well as our hope for TOMORROW! We invite you to participate in the MAJESTY and JOY of Easter as we celebrate the GLORY OF JESUS’ RESURRECTION!
