Join the 2019-2020 HSC Board & Committees

The Leigh Home & School Club invites you to join us next year. Most of this year's Board is returning but we would love to make our team bigger. The more people we have, the more fun it is and the easier it is for all as we can share the workload.

Most HSC tasks are done from home and do not require you to be at school. We have tasks that require a lot of effort, and tasks that require minimal effort. All skills and interests are needed! We have a variety of projects such as ... volunteer coordination, project planning, community building, gardening, writing, website maintenance, Google Drive support etc, If you have a skill you'd like to share or you are someone who just likes to get stuff done, please get in touch! We also need parents for once-off projects such as Back To School Night in August and the Stampede 5K Run/Walk in June.

We would love to chat with you and have you join one of our teams. Please contact our president at [email protected] for more information.

Join us and help make a difference at Leigh.
It takes a village - this is your village!
A Report from our Teachers

Ms. Celeste Smiley is the teacher rep for Home & School Club. At each meeting, she shares what is happening in the classrooms and other general info related to the teachers. Here's this month's teacher's report »

Staff Appreciation
There was a large turnout in March for our Spring Luncheon. Thank you to all of the volunteers who brought salads, and baked goods. Our HSC committee added salads from Togo’s, and sliders and sandwiches from Safeway Deli. The sun was shining, and it was a great day!

The staff appreciation committee and volunteers delivered cookies to staff in the front office in April.

In May the committee is planning a bagel bar during Teacher Appreciation Week, along with some other special treats, plus treats and water for Senior awards night on May 23.
