Hello Theresa,

I haven't popped into your inbox in a couple of months and I've missed you. In this time, I have traveled to London, Los Angeles and Rome. All inspiring trips filled with family, friends and food. Really, it doesn't get any better.

Besides work and travel, I've spent a lot of time building community with my fellow Brooklynites. If this is something that speaks to you, reach out to me and I'll fill you in.

One of my great loves will always be Brooklyn. I've a new blog post on where to eat, shop and spend time in this magnificent place. Please take a minute to read it and come visit!

Summer Living with Flora, Fauna and Pets

Living with Pets

Doesn't everyone have a puppy now?

Living with pets brings immense joy and companionship, but it also requires thoughtful consideration when it comes to choosing your carpets and furniture. With proactive measures and a touch of creativity, it's entirely possible to strike a harmonious balance between a pet-friendly and stylish home. Between my 3 fur babies, I've road-tested what works best for investing in durable, pet-friendly fabrics and rugs that best withstand claws, stains and the zoomies while remaining easy to clean. I can help you create a welcoming sanctuary where comfort and style coexist seamlessly for all of your family members.

Lawns, Flora and Fauna

Maintaining a healthy lawn without using pesticides can be challenging but is crucial for the well-being of ecosystems and human health. By adopting organic lawn care practices we can create vibrant, resilient green spaces that support diverse flora and fauna. Additionally, reducing pesticide usage minimizes exposure to harmful chemicals for both humans and pets. . Embracing natural alternatives and native plantings not only fosters a lush, thriving landscape but can also reduce your water usage, a critical requirement in many communities.

Wellness at Home

Music-

Record players have seen a remarkable resurgence in recent years. In an era dominated by digital convenience, the allure of vinyl lies in its tangible, nostalgic charm and unparalleled sound quality. For many, including myself, music holds the power to transport and ultimately, relax. There's something inherently soothing about losing oneself in a melody to wash away the stresses of the day, providing a sanctuary of tranquility amidst the chaos of modern life.

Scent-

Fragrances have the remarkable ability to influence our mood, alleviate stress, and promote relaxation. By embracing the power of scent, we tap into a rich tapestry of sensory experiences that not only enhance our environment but also nurture our physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

I am in love with Pura Scents for the home. Their scents are clean and organic (and, crucially, don't make me sneeze). I use a very low setting for 2 hours a day. If you need a mood boost, give it a try!
