JULY 2019
We have seen our fair share of rain this summer, but hopefully this newsletter can brighten up your day!
CUSTOM CABINETRY
HOME SWEET HOME OFFICE
As more and more are starting to work from home - either remotely or independently for their own business - having a designated space in the home for work is becoming increasingly important to homeowners. We recently took some photos of a gorgeous home office that features a rich stained shaker design. The back desk features a wood top, while the free-standing desk is complete with a suede granite top.
Not only providing ample closed storage and open shelving, this home office includes unique features to it as well! On both sides of the free-standing desk are pull-out wood work boards, and the back desk features hinged panels that hide all that unwanted cord clutter! Pictures of those items are below.
COUNTERTOPS
EMPIRA WHITE
Caesarstone calls Empira White a 'new classic for a modern age.' What I find so fascinating is the research done when creating these designs. Take a look at this video to see behind the scenes footage of what goes into creating one of their new colors.

USE & CARE
HOW CAN WE HELP?
This month, I would like to open this section up to ask you if you have any questions for us. Is there a certain area you would like us to discuss? Any issues you may be having with your appliances, countertops, or cabinetry that we can help answer? Or just basic questions in general that we can go over? Let us know and we can talk about them in our upcoming issues!
TRENDS
NEW SHOWROOM DISPLAY
Wood tone cabinetry has been gaining popularity as homeowners are incorporating natural elements into their designs. This rustic white oak vanity has a wire brushed technique applied to the wood creating a deeper grain. This piece features a natural finish highlighted with a dark glaze, then a matte clear top coat was applied, allowing the natural elements of the oak to be enhanced, not hidden. The Frosty Carrina honed quartz countertop tops off the vanity in a gorgeous and tasteful way. Keeping the quartz in a matte finish is the perfect choice for a rustic piece as the two go hand in hand. Take a look for yourself with these photos, or stop in and take a look!
WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING
"The bookcases in my bedroom are perfect. Besides giving me the extra storage I need, they seem to pull everything together finally. From beginning to end, the process at FCI is always organized, and handled in a timely and professional manner. And I especially appreciate this when I compare it to much of the out-of-town work I do. Thank you again for a job well done."
