Reminder - The Friends of the Pool group is taking important steps toward a replacement pool facility for our community, including the formation of a Park and Rec District. Cash Mob Friday 3 - 6:30 pm
The Chamber of Commerce is restarting the Cash Mob business support series once again, beginning this Friday, September 30. The idea is to choose a retailer, set shopping hours, and ask the public to come shop at that particular store during those hours and commit to spending $20. This was very successful when implemented by the Port prior to the COVID pandemic, and our businesses need a boost. Join us this Friday from 3 - 6:30 at Main Street Marketplace, 262 E Main, and show support for a local business!
Home Tours Saturday 1 - 4 pm
The Dayton Historic Depot's Historic Home Tours have returned with a special line-up this year! Tour the insides of three beautiful historic homes, including the Mill House that has undergone a complete transformation, visit the oldest restored and operating Pullman Train Car in the USA (1910), the Union Pacific Caboose (1952), and of course the Depot (1881) and the Boldman House (1880) Museums. Tickets can be purchased online here ahead of time or at the Depot on the day of the event. The tour runs from 1 - 4 pm this Saturday, October 1.
Tour our Town Saturday 3 - 5 pm
Take a sneak peak at this downtown building available for lease during a showcase of the former Columbia County Public Health building at 270 E Main Street. Envision the possibilities in this well-kept, up-to-date building with excellent Main Street visibility. Red Band Cellars wine and Chief Springs Beer will be served along with tasty treats from Fiesta en Jalisco and Vikki's Sweet Shoppe!
Trivia Night Saturday 7 pm
Jacob's Public House, 229 E Main Street (located on the ground floor of the Weinhard Hotel) presents Trivia Night! The event will be held on Saturdays at 7 pm starting this Saturday, October 1. The event features Happy Hour Specials, Drinks, Appetizers, Trivia Game, and Prizes. Come show your knowledge and have some fun in downtown Dayton!
Drive Thru Flu Clinics are Back!
Can you say convenient? Columbia County Health System's Drive Through Flu Shot Clinics are back! There will be two sessions:

Monday, October 10th
5 - 7 pm at the Columbia County Fairgrounds

Wednesday, October 12th
5 - 7 pm at Waitsburg Elementary

You literally don't even have to get out of your car. It's the best! See you there.
