The Cure Violence Columbus team is now in the final phases of the city assessment which includes the on-site visits and implementation proposal. The on-site visits will took place this week and will focus on three hotspots of the city (31903, 31906 & 31907) based on the 5-year trend analysis across assaults (murder, assaults, and robberies). The intent of the on-site visits is to allow the Cure Violence Global and Columbus teams to meet with city/community leaders, partners, and community residents to have open and meaningful dialogue about the issues plaguing our communities, but also gain an understanding of existing programs in those areas.
