Greetings! It is my prayer that this edition of HomeWork reaches you in the best of health and spirit.
I pray that you experienced a blessed and bountiful Thanksgiving holiday. As we enter the Advent season, I pray that our focus will be on the return of the Messiah and the work that we must complete. In this season of celebration, it is my prayer that we remain dedicated, dutiful, and diligent with regard to the work that God has assigned to our hands. I thank you all for a fruitful year of ministry.

Member Spotlight:
Sis. Maridythe Williams
'Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you - Matthew 6:33'
This is Sis. Maridythe Williams' favorite scripture because she believes that in all things, we must keep God first. Sis. Maridythe is a faithful member of our Sweet Home family - in the choir and in the S.A.S.S.Y. Women's ministry. She is also our resident "baby whisperer"! She loves God, singing, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
Sis. Maridythe is married to Ron Williams, and together they have 4 children. She has worked in the Social Service industry for over 20 years, and is a proud member of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority.
In times of storms and trials, Sis. Maridythe relies heavily on her faith. She humbly stated, "Without God, I have nothing. These past few years have been a faith journey. I will continue to trust God in everything I do. My mantra is, 'FAITH WORKS!'"
As she and her family begin their new journey, she has a few words of encouragement for us all - "Remember to keep God first!" Yes, Sis. Maridythe, we will do just that!!
