Grace and Peace. God be praised for a tremendous 60th Church Anniversary Celebration. I would like to thank Sis. Shanta Mack and those who served on the committee for leading our efforts, and I want to commend you as a church for your generosity and support!

As we look ahead to the new year, I would like for us as individuals to take the time to run a faith diagnostic. Let's take the time to evaluate our methods and examine our motives as we seek to renew our commitment and remain constant in the work that God has given us individually and corporately.

I am excited about the future and the manifestation of God's promises to us as a church. Let us remain dedicated, diligent, and dutiful as we endeavor to advance the Kingdom of our Savior.

Sweet Home Community News - December 2022

The Member Spotlight for the month of December is Sis. Alicia Allen!

Sis. Alicia is a S.A.S.S.Y. sister in the Sweet Home women's ministry and has been a member of our church family her entire life! She welcomes the hugs from the youth and is always ready with loving words of encouragement for anyone in need. As an active participant during the Word On Wednesdays digital campus ZOOM call, Sis. Alicia is well-versed in sharing biblical truths. Her favorite scripture is Matthew 28:20 because "it is reassuring and comforting to know that God will ALWAYS be with us."

Sis. Alicia is the youngest of four siblings, and the mother of one son, Aiden. Her formal education is rooted in Indiana University, having studied Elementary Education. She is a HUGE fan of music (you can catch her after church playing the piano!), and she loves to cook.

When she was asked what keeps her going, she replied, "Being here to raise my son to be a great person is what keeps me going."

As stated earlier, Sis. Alicia is an encourager of the people. This is what she wants us to hold on to:

"I want to encourage anybody reading this to keep going. Regardless of what situations look like, regardless of what it feels like, keep going. God tells and shows us numerous times in the Bible that He is ALWAYS here, and with Him, we can handle anything we face in this life."

Praise God for you, Sis. Alicia, and thank you for your continued encouragement! You are truly a blessing to 'The Home'!

Know that we appreciate and value your participation and support, and our ministries are designed to be meaningful to you as well.

Our prayer is that if you don't know Jesus Christ in the pardon of your sins that you surrender your life to Him. If you do not have a church home, we would love to have you become a part of our family of faith or assist you in finding one that will meet your needs.

Greetings to the Sweet Home family, in-house and virtual!

2022 is coming to an end, and God has kept us! Hallelujah! This has been a great year, even with the ups and downs of sicknesses and other challenges. We are thankful for God's perfect peace, and the ministerial navigation of our Servant Leader, Pastor Mack.

The youth are doing a tremendous job, and we are looking forward to what God has in store for them in 2023. Our aim will be to build the Kingdom of God, and create a safe space for children, as well as their parents, during these unprecedented times. As we go out and compel them to come, we welcome the aid of our church family and community partners to join in this evangelistic effort. We thank the Holy Spirit in advance for His guidance in this work.
