Greetings! I pray that this edition of the HomeWork finds you in the midst of God's richest and choicest blessings. Our mandate for the year is, "It's Time To Work!" I am asking each one of you to be prayerful about how the Lord wants you to serve in this ministry. For our virtual worshippers, in the future you will be receiving an invitation to join our Digital Campus on Facebook. This will allow you to better connect with your church family and establish ways that you can serve in ministry as well!

Member Spotlight:
Rev. Reginald Paige
This month our member spotlight is the newest member of our Sweet Home Ministerial staff - Reverend Reginald Paige!
Rev. Paige is a dedicated Chemistry Teacher at West Side High School here in Gary. He is also a proud graduate of the HBCU, Grambling State University! In addition to teaching high school students, he is an anointed teacher within our Christian Education ministry. Rev. Paige is the Minister of Digital Discipleship, and we are excited that he will be heading our Sweet Home Digital Campus in the very near future!!
Rev. Paige is a blessing to the Body of Christ, as well as the Sweet Home family. When asked what he wanted to share with the readers, he replied, "I am happy to be here at Sweet Home, and I am looking forward to serving with everyone." We are happy that you're here, too!

Ministry Highlight - Deacon's & Trustees Ministry
This month we are celebrating our Deacon's and Trustees Ministry! This ministry is a vital part of the servant leadership of here at The Home. The Deacon's Ministry assists the Pastor in spiritual matters as servants of the church. The Trustee's Ministry is tasked with the responsibility of stewardship over the physical resources of the church.
We thank God for these men and women who have both consented and committed themselves to these ministries, and are appreciative of the use of their gifts for the good of our church.

Christian Education Corner
We give Glory, Honor, and Reverance to our God, Jesus Christ. Greetings to the entire Sweet Home family - in-person & virtual! I am so very excited and thankful to my Triune God for continuing to favor us. I am also thankful to Pastor Mack and the Christian Education department for allowing God to have His way during our Annual Congress of Christian Education School, with the climax on Sunday with Pastor Hall and the City of Praise. In spite of the virus and weather, God won, and there was great participation and attendance! HALLELUJAH!!
I want to leave this thought with you: When it comes to Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts, "study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the Word of Truth" (II Timothy 2:15). To find your gifts, read I Corinthians 12:1-11 and Romans 12:3-9. Finally, and most importantly, pray and ask for God's help.
