To God be the glory! As we enter the month of June, I can't help but to reflect on God's graciousness in the we celebrate fourteen years as Pastor and people. I thank God for the kindness and generosity each of you has shown me over the years, but more importantly, I thank Him for your friendship, followship, and partnership. It is both an honor and a privilege to serve you as your Pastor!

Member Spotlight:
Min. Stephanie Harden
The Member Spotlight for the month of June is Min. Stephanie Harden! A S.A.S.S.Y. sister and the Minister of Outreach and Evangelism, Min. Stephanie is committed to the growth of God's Kingdom. "It's always easy to say, 'I'm a Christian', but it takes work to walk in that truth." This is what Min. Stephanie lives by and teaches to those she is given the opportunity to minister to. She has served in various roles within the Sweet Home family, and Stephanie's love for preaching is definitely one of them!
Originally from Harvey, IL., Min. Stephanie has lived in NW Indiana for 16 years, raising a daughter and two sons. She is currently a student at Indiana University Northwest, majoring in Labor Studies. In addition to growing her publishing company, she also facilitates life skills programs benefiting women in housing transition through her non-profit organization, Transitions Resource Center.
"When you love God's Word as much as I do, it's difficult to choose one scripture", she says, "but the two I focus on the most are Matthew 6:33 and Isaiah 61:1-2". According to Min. Stephanie, these scriptures speak to God's purpose and His provision. Godspeed to Min. Stephanie, and her Christ-centered commitment to the ministry of Sweet Home!

Christian Education Corner
Praise God, Sweet Home family and friends! I greet you once again in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Our great and wonderful God has brought through five months of 2022 with blessings by His Grace and Mercy! He is continually showing Himself to us, even though He doesn't have to.
As the Minister of Christian Education, I want to thank everyone who shares in this ministry. Your hard work and commitment are what brings this ministry to life, as well as sharing the gifts God has given you.
As God is giving increase, it is time for us to reach out to the families in our community to continue to build our church community. If you have ideas that will get the job done, please share them.

The school year is ending for our students, and we want to provide some summer learning and protection for them while they are out of school. Our youth were doing very good in school with their grades and activities, and we want to keep that momentum going!
Not only do we have talented youth within The Home, as with Angel being inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, but we also have youth doing great things in other places as well! We want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our very own Jeremiah Mangum, who is graduating from Cedar Falls High School in Cedar Falls, IA, and will be attending Atlanta Metropolitan State College this fall! Congratulations, Bro. Jeremiah, and may the Lord continue to order your steps!

Our three college students that began their collegiate journey last fall, all made it back safely with a successful first year! Praise God for His protection and provision over the lives of Sis. Jalynn, Sis. Kamryn, and Bro. Javonte!

We celebrated a beautiful Mother's Day on May 8th!
As an added bonus, Sis. Lillian and Bro. Arthur blessed every woman with flowers!
