Here are a few reminders before the event on Saturday

5k - 8:00 am

Kids Run - 9:00 am

Race Reminders:

Plan to arrive at the Start/Finish area by 7:30 am to give yourself time to check-in, use the bathroom, warm up, check your bag, and be lined up for the start by 7:55 am.
Wear your race bib # on the front of your shirt.
Line up according to your planned race pace - i.e. 5:00 min/mile pace toeing the start line, 8:00-11:00 min/mile middle of the crowd, then 12:00 - 20:00+ min/mile pace.
Double check your information (name, age, gender) on your bib before the race to make sure it's correct. Please contact us if you need any info updated,
Kids Race - free and no registration required. Line up at the start at 8:55 am.

PARKING

The race occurs on the same day as the CSU Homecoming football game, so there are a few important notes regarding parking outlined below:

Beginning at 10 a.m. Colorado State University will start enforcing game day parking, meaning all vehicles parked on campus lots without a game day pass at this time will be towed and/or ticketed.

We recommend coming to the CSU campus for the 5K via public transportation, such as the MAX, rideshare programs, or biking/walking.

ON-CAMPUS PARKING - Lots #305, #310, & #315

See map below. Cars must vacate parking lot by 10:00 am or will be subject to

ticketing per game day parking rules.

Neighborhoods to the north of Laurel St. and east of College Ave. also allow for two-hour street parking once daily. Park on any of these neighborhood streets and it's a nice warm-up walk/jog over to the Oval for the race.

Please follow all guidelines and signage when parking on or near campus, or consider public and shared rider transportation in alliance with the sustainable vision of Colorado State University.

THIS IS A GREEN EVENT - PLEASE CARPOOL or RIDE YOUR BIKE!

There are plenty of bike racks onsite near the start/finish.

Bag Check

The race will have a free bag check option near the Start/Finish line.

Bring a small bag to hold your warm-up & post-run clothes, any personal belongings, a few $ for coffee, etc.

Bag check tent will have tags to write your name and bib # to attach to your bag. Check your bag in before the race and remember to come back and get it after the race.
