The Flies Have It: Never Too Late To Fight Fat, Lengthen Lifespan
A new study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggests a switch to a healthier diet can have benefits even late in life. Dr. Dwyer's Husky Homecoming

Read how Dr. Corey Dwyer's path to becoming a sports medicine physician is painted in Husky blue.

DEAR DR. LIANG
Can I assume the melons served here at UConn Health are not on the recall list in the news?

Thank you for your question, which I shared with Angela Linnhoff, senior director of food and nutrition, who assures us we indeed have a system that alerts her team to any recalls, and they take them very seriously. So, short answer, yes!

Speaking of our food and nutrition services, here’s a bonus submission, in the spirit of the season:

Not a complaint, just a comment: The salad bar these last few days since the sous chef has arrived is amazing. Well done!

I have nothing to add other than, well done indeed! Thank you for taking the time to share this positive feedback for us to offer as a small dose of holiday cheer.

Happy holidays!
