$10,000 Grant will Help Local Veterans

Homes for Heroes awarded Changing Homelessness with a gift to assist veterans experiencing housing instability in our community. We are grateful for this gift as we work towards our community goal of reaching functional zero for Veteran homelessness by the end of this year.
Northeast Florida Built for Zero Update

We are seeing slow, but encouraging progress in our efforts to reach functional zero for Veteran homelessness. There has been a decrease in the length of time from identification to move in data as well as engagement to enrollment. We are excited to see what strides will be made next.
Do you HMIS?
2019 Point in Time findings reflected a significant decrease in both Chronic and Veteran homelessness over the past 10 years. The All Other category, however, has increased. Read more in the 2019 Point in Time Report here .

The general membership meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday at the First United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall at 225 East Duval Street, 8:30 to 10:00 am. Our next meeting is July 11th.
