Bombas graciously donated 5,000 pairs of socks to Northeast Florida and 75,000 pairs to Family Promise offices across the country.

Donations were distributed among 10 agencies in Jacksonville.
Veteran Stand Down: Landlord Connection

The Built for Zero project partnered with the City of Jacksonville to put on a Landlord Connection event during last week's Veterans Stand Down. Seven property owners were in attendance as well as service provider staff to connect veterans to available housing. Veterans were given the opportunity to fill out applications for available units.
Built for Zero Update

Members of the Built for Zero project will be traveling to Denver next week for a Built for Zero Learning Session. Attendees will be able to convene with other communities who are also working towards functional zero.

  • The Coordinated Entry Committee and Chronic By-Name List Meetings have resumed.
  • Northeast Florida was awarded the HMIS Capacity Building Grant this year. Preparations are being made to bring on two positions to support data entry for HMIS.

The general membership meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday at the First United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall at 225 East Duval Street, 8:30 to 10:00 am. Our next meeting is November 14th.
