Independence Day - Tuesday, July 4

The Fourth of July celebrates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. 

The RACI office will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

Normal office and support hours Monday, resuming Wednesday.

Black Knight (Paragon) support will close at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3 resuming normal support hours Wednesday, July 5.

IRMLS will be closed Monday, July 3 & Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day resuming normal support hours Wednesday, July 5.

SentriLock support will have special support hours in observance of Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4. The Support Department will operate from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ET

U.S. Senators Ben Cardin (D-Md.) and Todd Young (R-Ind.), both members of the Senate Finance Committee co-authored and reintroduced the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act (NHIA) - S.657 (March 2023)

Senator Todd Young engaged in meaningful conversations and the exchange of ideas providing a deeper understanding of the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act (NHIA) on Wednesday at the RACI office. It is through these discussions that individuals and organizations can collaborate, share perspectives, and work towards finding effective solutions to address affordable housing challenges.

We cannot thank Maggie McShane, IAR Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and her team for their hard work building strong relationships with community officials and elected leaders at the local, state, and federal levels.

New NAR Survey Finds Americans Prefer Walkable Communities

A national poll conducted in April 2023 of 2,000 adults in the fifty-largest metro areas found that coming out of the Coronavirus pandemic that demand for living in a walkable community remains robust.

"With COVID in our rearview mirror, this study shows that a substantial demand for walkability persists for Americans of all ages," said NAR President Kenny Parcell. "NAR has conducted community preference surveys for over 20 years, providing Realtors® and their communities with valuable information on shifting American lifestyles and migration trends. To help local communities and Realtor® associations improve the places they live, NAR generates this survey and makes the results available to all."

License Renewal DEADLINE TODAY AT 11:59PM

Last day! Renew by 11:59pm June 30, 2023

• All real estate licensees must renew their three-year license by 11:59PM on June 30, by mail (printable form and instructions) or online at https://mylicense.in.gov/eGov/index.html
• The renewal fee is $60, and a late fee of $50 will be assessed for applications submitted or postmarked later than June 30.
• Brokers must complete required CE (12 hours per year, 36 hrs for a three-year cycle for licensees with more than two years in the business) before submitting their renewal.
• If you answer “no” to the final question on the license renewal form (“Have you completed the required continuing education to renew?”) your license will be automatically suspended until you finish the total requirement and submit your CE certificates as documentation.
• If you answer 'yes' to submit your renewal before completing your CE requirement you may face tougher penalties if you’re caught by a PLA compliance audit – don’t risk it.
