Welcome to Homeschool Connections' 2020 Winter Semester!
First, read through the general Homeschool Connections news!
Then, each campus' announcements are listed.

Please read thoroughly every Friday!
For Self-Pay Families!
Early pay discount ($140 per hour instead of $175) ends January 31st!
How to take advantage of the discount:
Orbund Invoice will say $175/per class. (Make sure you are in the correct semester.)
ONLY pay $140 per class that is not being funded by a district.
  • Example: If you have 6 classes on your invoice, but 4 are being paid for by a district, your early-payment for the remaining 2 classes is $280.
Add Lunch ($15 per student/per semester) and Study Hall ($65/per hour/per student) fees to that amount to get your total payment due.
A $35/class credit will be applied to your account after January 31 for each class paid.
After January 31 all classes are charged the regular rate of $175 per class & are due on or before April 3, 2020.
Balances for Winter 2020 Semester is due April 3, 2020
Payments received after April 3rd may be subject to a late fee and your account will be locked for our Fall 2020 registration until it is paid in full. Please make sure you are in the correct semester when making payments - Winter 2020.
If you have any questions please email me at accounting@mihomeschoolconnections.com.
Thank you - Pam Koskinen
For Funded Families!
  • In order for classes to be funded, they MUST be submitted to Clarkston Community Schools using this link no later than January 17, 2020. If you don't, your classes will not be funded.
  • Remember that the districts do not pay for registration fees, lunch, study hall, certain science lecture classes and any other class that they have told you they will not cover. When you are in Orbund, double check that you are in the correct semester.
  • You MUST satisfactorily complete any requirements as specified by the district in order to be eligible for district funding.
  • If you have questions about what they will pay for, please reach out to Ken Janczarek, Clarkston representative at: kpjanczarek@clarkston.k12.mi.us
  • It is your responsibility to get any schedule changes to your district in a timely manner.
  • Verified and approved district funding credits will be applied to your account once count is complete, usually by mid March.
  • If balances are not paid in full by registration for the following semester will be blocked until the balance is paid in full.
If you have any questions please email me at accounting@mihomeschoolconnections.com.
Thank you - Pam Koskinen
