Minister's Moment

Homesickness is a tangible yearning to return to our place of safety and belonging. From a spiritual perspective, this longing stems from our desire to realign with our authentic self. Our guest speaker Ester Nicholson has experienced this personally. Despite her success, as a back-up singer for the likes of Rod Stewart and Bette Midler, Ester struggled with self-acceptance. Unfortunately, her efforts to manage her feelings of unworthiness ultimately led to addiction. Her recovery started with a breakdown and a decision to relearn how to love herself.
Her personal experience with recovery led her to write a powerful prescription for self-acceptance. In her book, Soul Recovery , she outlines a step-by-step process by which to uncover the essential truth that you are a whole and complete expression of Life – no matter what your history or experience might suggest. She will share her story and a lesson on how to overcome feelings of unworthiness. Join her this Sunday to learn to reclaim your personal power-your real self.
There is also an opportunity to learn more about her process at her afternoon workshop. Ester will share the Healing Code for Forgiveness ™. A program that sustain-ably heals challenges of addiction and dependence, childhood trauma, unworthiness, abandonment, shame, rejection, guilt and any other influence that is in-congruent with our essential identity as worthy and powerful individuals. The 3-hour workshop begins at 1 PM.

If you can’t spend Sunday with us in person, watch the service through our live-stream at 11 am or catch up on any of our services through our on-line archive . Thank you for your interest in Unity and may your spiritual path be one of joy and fulfillment.
