San Gabriel, Calif. –– On May 18, 2021 at approximately 6:12 pm, the San Gabriel Police Department received a call of a gunshot victim in the 500 block of W. Norwood Place, in San Gabriel. Officers arrived on scene and encountered a Hispanic male in his 20s lying in the street with possible gun shot wounds. Officers attempted life-saving measures. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
