Best Week Ever

This has been an exciting week for sure! Lots of successes happening! Julie Rash learned how to play Pickleball at the ES Community Center and she just took Gold in her USA Pickleball Tournament, sending her to national competition! Stay Tuned for her progress!


Also, congrats to the ESHS Tiger Football team and the ESHS Volleyball team for their wins this weekend! Go, Tigers!

Coming Soon

National Night Out will be taking place on Friday, September 16th from 6-8pm in Siloam Mountain Park! Join ESPD and ESFD for some fun!


Also, there is a public hearing regarding the train merger between The Kansas City Southern Railway Company (KCS) by Canadian Pacific Railway Limited (CP).

This will be Wednesday, September 14th at 6-8pm at the Montgomery Event Venue.

Overnight Shooting in Excelsior Springs Leaves One Dead, One in Critical Condition

An overnight shooting near downtown Excelsior Springs sent two local residents to the hospital in critical condition, one of which has since died.

At approximately 12:38 PM on September 7th the Floyd County Texas Sheriff’s Department arrested Keith Bass II (48) in connection with the Excelsior Springs shooting that left one woman dead and another man critically injured.
