Greetings!
4Tucson stands with our first responders who risk their lives to protect us each and every day. In recent weeks, DEA Special Agent Michael Garbo, Maricopa County Sheriff Deputy Juan “Johnny”’ Ruiz and LA Paz County Sheriff Deputy Sgt. Michael Rudd all lost their lives in the line of duty.
We mourn their deaths alongside family and friends.
When first responders are in need, the 100Club provides them and their families with financial assistance when they are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty and provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare. The 100Club has proudly served the public safety community since 1968.
This Friday, the 100Club Southern Arizona Liaison Kelley Meshirer will be our 4Tucson Breakfast speaker. Kelley is also the wife of US Border Patrol Officer Michael Meshirer who was shot and wounded in the line of duty.
Additionally, she is honored to serve at BP101Fund’s president, an organization that works to remember Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents killed in the line of duty. She long served on the board of directors for America’s Future Foundation, whose mission is to identify and develop future leaders who strive for free-market values and currently sits on the Aiofe Foundation board serving first responder families and children who have endured trauma. She is a NRA certified firearms instructor and a recommended black belt in the martial art of Taekowndo. She and Michael with their daughter live in Oro Valley, Arizona.
This breakfast will be the last 4Tucson live breakfast of the year and is a preview to our annual Blessing Breakfast for First Responders and Elected Officials being held at the El Conquistador Resort on January 28, 2022. Kelley will once again be speaking as our co-sponsor.
I urge you to register right away for a great presentation, excellent food and like minded fellowship.
