We are pleased to announce Viacom's President and CEO Bob Bakish and Comcast Corporation's Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer David L. Cohen will serve as honorary co-chairs for our 31st Annual NAMIC Conference on Sept. 26-27 at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Procter & Gamble is both "Proud Sponsor of Moms" and supporter of African-American women, with its ongoing "My Black Is Beautiful" campaign. These concerns merge in the marketer's heart-rending film about the unique challenges African-American mothers have in raising kids -- in decades past, and continuing today.

A coordinated cyberattack on July 27 saw hackers walk away with one-and-a-half terabytes of HBO data, a publication reported, which included video footage, internal documents and email correspondence.

The NFL today internally announced the launch of an LGBTQ employee affinity group, called NFL Pride. The new organization, which will officially launch Aug. 16, will be used to support LGBTQ employees and advise NFL executives on best practices for engaging on diversity issues.


Gonzalo Del Fa, President of GroupM Multicultural and a leader in advertising to Hispanic consumers, will be presented with the 2017 Award for Executive Leadership in Hispanic Television and Video by leading television business publications Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News. The award will be presented during a luncheon ceremony at the 15th Annual Hispanic Television Summit, held on Thursday, October 19th, 2017 at the Sheraton New York Hotel.
