Applications for the Community Development Assistance Program through the Atlanta Regional Commission are now open!

The Community Development Assistance Program (CDAP) supports local governments, CIDs, and nonprofits across metro Atlanta by providing planning assistance for projects that align with ARC’s regional initiatives. Through CDAP, communities gain access to expert technical planning support to help bring their local visions to life.

The 2025 application window is now open and closes at the end of the day on Friday, February 28th. The deadline for questions and application assistance is February 21.

Junior Achievement Opening in Clayton County

Junior Achievement of Georgia has been invited to join the Clayton County Public Schools Convocation Center, a transformative development at the former Sears site in Southlake Mall. This 15-acre complex will feature a 7,000-seat arena and a cutting-edge business center, with CCPS designating 33,000 square feet for the new JA Discovery Center of Clayton County.

Set to open in Fall 2025, the JA Discovery Center will impact 25,000 middle school students from Clayton County Public Schools and neighboring districts. Through two dynamic programs—JA BizTown and JA Finance Park—students will gain hands-on experience and valuable exposure to future career and financial opportunities.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our previous Marketing Intern, Demirah Stubbs from Clayton State University! During her time with us, Demirah conducted a website audit, reviewed Blueprint 2.0, developed a marketing strategy, and provided a detailed social media analysis. Her dedication and hard work have left a lasting impact!

As she completes her final semester, earning her BBA in Marketing, we wish her nothing but success in the next chapter of her journey. Thank you, Demirah, for your commitment and contributions!
