Día de los Muertos:
Honoring & Remembering

Honoring Día de los Muertos and Reflecting on 60 Years of Resistance

As we honor our ancestors on Día de los Muertos, we connect to their wisdom, traditions and legacy of resistance, standing firm in our commitment as community workers to uplift, advance and protect their right to freedom, liberation and self-determination.

This season of remembrance feels especially meaningful as Horizons celebrates 60 Years en Florecer — six decades of nurturing youth, uplifting families, and honoring the vibrant spirit of our community.

Our upcoming anniversary gala pays tribute to the past while celebrating the new generations who carry that light forward.

In remembering our ancestors, we also celebrate the seeds they planted — seeds that continue to bloom through the lives of those we serve today.
