U.S. CHRISTIAN CHAMBER NEWS

Meet the Inaugural National Award Recipients

The U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the first recipients of its national awards, recognizing leaders and organizations whose work reflects excellence, service, and faith-driven impact.

At SWC 2026 in Orlando, the U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce marked a historic milestone with the presentation of its first-ever National Awards. Created to recognize businesses, nonprofits, leaders, and chambers that exemplify faith, excellence, leadership, and Kingdom impact in the marketplace, the awards celebrate those whose service and commitment have made a meaningful contribution to the Chamber community.

This was no small undertaking. Each participating Christian Chamber was invited to nominate one member per category. The Awards Committee, chaired by Jovani Monexil, founder of Savior National Solutions in Tampa, Florida, reviewed an impressive group of nominees representing thousands of members and countless stories of faith-driven impact.

With only one recipient selected in each category, the awards reflect the highest level of recognition across the Christian Chamber network.

Spiritual World Citizen Award

PHOS Creative | Gainesville, Florida

The Spiritual World Citizen Award honors a business that exemplifies Christian leadership while creating measurable impact through business excellence.

PHOS Creative has built a nationally recognized digital marketing agency while remaining firmly anchored in its mission: "To cultivate true flourishing in people and organizations while reflecting the love of Jesus."

Through intentional discipleship, workplace prayer, employee care, and extraordinary generosity, PHOS has demonstrated that business success and Kingdom impact can grow together. Their work has helped launch 42 care centers across 18 countries, serving nearly 7,000 women and children while committing 50% of net profits to Gospel-centered initiatives.

Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership Award

Mission Possible | Findlay, Ohio

Founded in 1979, Mission Possible has spent more than four decades bringing hope, healing, and transformation to communities around the world.

Their mission—For hope. For help. Forever.—comes to life through evangelism, education, leadership development, discipleship, and medical outreach. Recent initiatives included serving more than 550 patients through medical missions and equipping pastors through leadership training programs.

Mission Possible's long-standing commitment to excellence, accountability, and sustainable Kingdom impact made them a standout recipient of this year's award.

Sustaining the Kingdom Award

Karen Miner Hurd | Suffolk, Virginia

The Sustaining the Kingdom Award recognizes an individual who consistently invests in Chamber initiatives while exemplifying Christ's love through servant leadership.

As Membership Director, Karen Hurd faithfully served the Virginia Christian Chamber of Commerce by personally onboarding more than 100 founding members and helping cultivate a welcoming, Christ-centered culture of faith, service, and excellence.

Her commitment to relationships, member engagement, and Kingdom collaboration has helped build a strong foundation for continued growth and impact.

Pastor Roz Community Business Impact Award

Central Florida Christian Chamber of Commerce

The Community Business Impact Award recognizes a chamber demonstrating exceptional growth, engagement, and community influence.

Through intentional programming, leadership development, prayer, mentorship, and community engagement, the Central Florida Christian Chamber has built a thriving ecosystem where business leaders are equipped to grow professionally, strengthen their faith, and make a lasting impact in their communities.

This award carries special significance because it is named in honor of Pastor Roz, a pioneering leader in the Christian Chamber movement. An entrepreneur, business owner, pastor, and Kingdom builder, Pastor Roz helped launch the West Ohio Christian Chamber of Commerce—one of the first Christian Chambers Krystal Parker had the privilege of helping establish.

Pastor Roz loved the Lord, loved people, and served as a beacon of light for faith-driven business leaders. His legacy reminds us that true community impact is measured not only by growth, but by the lives we strengthen along the way.

We invite you to watch the tribute video below and learn more about why this award bears his name.

More Than Awards

These awards celebrate more than organizational success. They celebrate faithful stewardship, servant leadership, and a commitment to advancing God's Kingdom through the marketplace.

To every chamber that submitted nominations and every nominee considered, thank you for the work you do each day to integrate faith and business in meaningful ways.

Congratulations to the inaugural recipients of the 2026–2027 U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce National Awards.

The future of Kingdom commerce is bright because faithful leaders across this movement continue to show up, lead boldly, love people well, and honor God through their work. Whether in a business, nonprofit, ministry, or chamber, each of you has an opportunity to reflect Christ in the marketplace. Through your leadership, your service, and your daily influence, His light shines into communities across the nation, impacting lives and advancing His Kingdom.

Key Takeaway: For years, Christians who warned that artificial intelligence would eventually become more than a technology were dismissed as alarmists. We were told AI was merely a tool. A calculator. A search engine. A productivity assistant.

SPLC ‘Hate List’: Christian Pro-Life Groups ON, Antifa OFF

Key Takeaway: Pressed under oath, Fair dodged and weaved during the nearly four hours of testimony. When asked about some of the specific charges in the 11-point federal indictment, the SPLC chief repeatedly retreated to a standard deflection talking point. Over and over, he replied, "All the allegations in the indictment will be addressed in the Middle District of Alabama."
