Greetings!

Today is Gold Star Family Day and on this day we honor Gold Star Families everywhere! We want to show them that the sacrifice made by their loved ones will never be forgotten.

There are many ways to honor Gold Star Families, and one way we can do that is through the Luminary Initiative. The mission of the Gold Star Luminary Initiative is to promote awareness of Gold Star Family Day and urge organizations and individuals in communities throughout the United States to light luminaries at dusk on the last Sunday of each September in honor of our fallen heroes.

We ask anyone participating in a Luminary event to share their photos with us. We will add the photos to our Luminary Initiative website and share them on social media to ensure that Gold Star Families will see them! You can send your photos to photos@marineparents.com!
