Dr. Susan Santa Cruz, on her retirement!

We truly appreciate her years of dedication as a board member and a physician. Plus, many of you have tapped your toes – and even danced – to the music of her band, the B-Flats, over the years at our events. Dr. Santa Cruz retired from duty as an Arkansas Hospice doctor in 2014 but stayed with us on a PRN (as needed) basis. Please join us in thanking Dr. Santa Cruz for her continued support and in wishing her much happiness in the years ahead!

Speaking of Grief podcast launch a success!

“Speaking of Grief” premiered April 1st with its first episode, "Don't Let Grief Fool You." New episodes will be available on the 1st of each month.

The podcast is a frank conversation about death, loss and grief presented by Arkansas Hospice Director of Bereavement Barbara Ross and bereavement specialists Jamie Boshears & Simone Brock. Episodes tackle topics and questions in a compassionate, and even humorous manner. Topics address how everyone’s journey of grief is unique to them, along with help for the listener to navigate their own path through loss.

National Volunteer Week April 18-24

Please join us in thanking our Arkansas Hospice volunteers for their continued dedication! To all of our more than 300 volunteers, therapy dogs (and their humans), quilters, packet assemblers, tuck-in callers and so many more who give of their time and talents, your compassion and commitment are greatly appreciated, especially in times like these.

It's Party Time!

The news is about to break on our exciting fall event!

On Saturday, September 25th at the Argenta Plaza on Main Street in North Little Rock, Arkansas Hospice Foundation will host, "Party at The Plaza" benefitting Arkansas Hospice. This new and exciting signature fundraiser will be the event of the year and you'll want to be a part of it!

Food, music and family fun will abound as local restaurants dish up their signature delights. Top-tier entertainment will have everyone dancing in the Plaza and much more fun to be announced. This event is open to the public and everyone can attend for FREE.

To add to the fun, create your own fundraising team or join teams anywhere in the state and beyond to compete online for most funds raised to win prizes. On the day of the event, team members can attend in-person and compete in our Argenta Outdoor Dining District "Restaurant Ramble" that will culminate in prizes and trophies.

Join us and help us support Arkansas Hospice to provide the comfort to our fellow Arkansans during their time of greatest need.
