The mission of Safe Futures, Inc. is to save lives, restore hope, and change the future for those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and trafficking in southeastern Connecticut.
October is National Domestic
Violence Awareness Month
Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) was officially launched nationwide over 30 years ago as a way to connect and unite individuals and organizations working on domestic violence issues while raising awareness for those issues.

Over the past year, Safe Futures served 10,000 victims of domestic violence and provided over 114,000 services. But our work continues and your support matters!

This October, Safe Futures will be hosting our Annual 4K Safe Walk on Sunday, October 17th in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Join us at Waterford High School at 9:00am for Safe Futures' Annual 4K Safe Walk this October. Our Honorary Walk Chairman is Mike Mike Buscetto! We are grateful for all our participants every year and we look forward to seeing everyone this year.
Luna invites you to our 4K Safe Walk!
Here is how your support makes a difference to victims of domestic violence:

$25: Provides gift cards to grocery or department stores for adults and children
$50: Provides bus passes or train tickets to relocate a victim in danger
$100: Provides two individual counseling sessions for a victim
$500: Provides a child victim with 10 counseling sessions with a child advocate
$1,000: Provides one week of emergency shelter for a victim

If you are unable to join us, we encourage you to make a donation today.
