Honoring Oscar Winner Gray Frederickson in Palm Springs

IN PALM SPRINGS AND ENJOYED INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Guests and Honorees gathered in Palm Springs to honor Gray Frederickson, and announce a new book based upon Dr. Charles Bennett's life. Frederickson was involved in the development of a movie project based upon the book over the past three years during the pandemic.

Guests celebrated the Life of Gray Frederickson and honored remarkable individuals who he knew personally over the years. Gray was an Oscar and Emmy Award winning producer.

He produced all three Godfather movies, and with his partner Francis Ford Coppola, he produced Apocalypse Now, The Outsiders, and many more. Three of his films are listed in the top movies of all time. He established one of the top Film Schools in America, the Oklahoma Film Institute, and was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. He was a great storyteller, and he loved a great story, especially Bennett's fight with Big Parma the DEA

Charles Bennett - Taking on Big Pharma

Charles Lee Bennett, MD, PhD, MPP, has been taking on Big Pharma for two decades. His new book Taking on Big Pharma by Julius G. Getman and Terri Leclercq is available at any bookseller. Proceeds will go to the Robert Kennedy's Children’s’ Defense Fund.

Linda Martin, Ph.D. - Drug Injury Survivor

For the past decade, Linda Martin, PhD has researched adverse events related to fluoroquinolone antibiotics, such as Levaquin and Cipro.

Dr. Martin has analyzed reports sent to the FDA about the side effects of these drugs and has been an author on a number of published papers related to her research. She has also coordinated more than 50 news segments about the dangers of these antibiotics in order to raise awareness so that others may avoid having their lives needlessly devastated. Her story is part of the movie.
