Dear NorthStar Teammates,

Today, we take the special opportunity to honor and celebrate both those who have served and currently serve in the American armed forces. And this year, Veterans Day feels even more significant as we had the great privilege of exercising our right to vote, perhaps one of the greatest legacies afforded us by the sacrifices of our military heroes.

At NorthStar, we are proud to have more than 150 teammates who have served, like Brent Scurci, VP of Operations, pictured above, and Dr. Scott Watamuta, Medical Director at Springfield Regional Medical Center. This also includes many who are still active in the Reserve Forces and National Guard. Each of these individuals embodies One Team in bringing the same level of commitment and dedication to serving their colleagues and patients as they did in serving their military teams. They are committed to the vision of the organization and execute on our mission to provide the highest quality patient care, and we are proud that they are part of the NorthStar family.

Having spent nearly 35 years of military service between the two of us, we hold a special place in our hearts for Veterans Day. We are honored to have so many servicemen and women here at NorthStar and greatly value their steadfast commitment and sacrifice.

Today, and every day, we honor you. Thank you for your service.

Sincerely,

Jim Roberts, MD
