Dear Crusader Family,
I am pleased to share that Tampa Catholic High School has received a substantial anonymous gift to replace the playing surface at Mulry Field and make other improvements to our baseball facilities. The project includes new Bermuda grass in the infield and outfield, regrading and leveling uneven areas affected by storm damage and rainy-season drainage, and improvements to the gravel walkway and warning track. As of this week, construction on the field has begun.
The baseball program at Tampa Catholic High School has a proud legacy of excellence and bringing the community together. Our teams have won nine state championships (1968, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1976, 1979, 1982, 1996, and 2001). Mulry Field has been part of that story for generations of players, coaches, families, and fans. Caring for the field today honors those who built that legacy and gives the next generation of Crusaders a place to carry it forward.
We are blessed by people who believe in our school, students, and coaching staff so deeply that they feel called to give back in ways that will benefit others for years to come. Their quiet yet extraordinary generosity reflects the strength of our Crusader family and reminds us that each of us can make a meaningful difference in the life of our school.
With gratitude, I share the news of this progress that gives our student-athletes a new opportunity to compete, grow, and be inspired to reach their fullest potential.
I invite you to join me in heartfelt thanksgiving for this remarkable gift. If you have been thinking about a way to give back to TC, I welcome the opportunity to hear what matters most to you.
In Gratitude,
