Physics Show Needs Workers -- Fun, Rewarding, and you get Paid
The Physics Show needs your help to give campus tours, assist with hands-on activities, and inspire young students to want to attend college. The good news - we can pay you $15 per hour. Anyone can help, no special skills required. However, you must have a social security number (SSN) to get paid. If you do not have a SSN, and you would like one, Frank Cascarano can provide a letter to help you get one. This is really a great event - you will be glad you participated.

Inclusive Mentoring in Data Science by Stanford University Students
Interested in STEM related fields such as data science? Check out this amazing opportunity to work with Stanford doctoral students. During winter 2023 (January 9–March 17), participants will engage in one-to-one exchanges with Stanford doctoral students in a convenient online setting, aiming to build a strong mentee-mentor relationship. The weekly online meetings will be the occasion to: experience what it means to work in data science; plan a course of study and navigate internship opportunities, preparing applications, with the help of a coach; increase one’s knowledge in some aspects of data science; and engage in mini-research projects. The program is highly individualized and will depend on interests and experience levels.

Honors Student Counseling Report Form
All Honors Institute participants are required to meet with a counselor at least once every quarter to review or develop their educational plan, as well as to discuss any personal, career or academic concerns. Counseling appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes.
After your counseling appointment, please complete the new Counseling Report Form to record your visit and help evaluate your plan towards academic, personal, and professional successes. The Honors Institute will verify your appointment at the end of each quarter. This new reporting process replaces the documentation that counselors needed to complete.
