  • Monday, April 7, 2025 program starts in Kyoto (must depart U.S. no later than Sunday, April 6)
  • Saturday, May 31, 2025 program in Kyoto concludes (students must depart homestays) 
  • June 2 - June 27, 2025 coursework continues online

For students who are completing the Honors Scholar program for Fall 2024 admission to other schools, all criteria must be completed by the end of Spring 2024 quarter but apply now. The petition window is overdue, but still do it and contact Tracee.

Changes are brewing. We are all going to be honors scholars.


Starting next year we are making a major policy shifts we will have orientations in the Fall. Dates to be announced.


Everyone is will be an honors scholar from the beginning of the year. This way when you apply for transfer - you will already be called an Honors Scholar. It sounds great, and gives you motivation to finish all the steps.

LGBTQ+ Annual Pride March

Share your PRIDE across campus with a march leading to the LGBTQ+ Inclusive Flag Raising Ceremony at the FHDA District Office! Bring a Pride poster, or borrow one from the organizers. Make some noise as we march from Ceaser Chavez Plaza and across campus down the hill to the District Office, which begins at Noon.

Join us in celebrating PRIDE for all at Foothill-De Anza's third annual LGBTQ+ Inclusive Flag Raising Ceremony. Together with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members; we celebrate inclusion, unity, awareness, wellness, and equity for all.

Reception with appetizers and beverages to follow indoors in the District Office's lobby.

About the Production

This classic, ancient Sanskrit fantasy/romance/drama tells the story of King Dushyanta and his love Shakuntala. Smitten at their first meeting, Dushyanta and Shakuntala fall in love and marry. Along the way, their love is then tested by fate and karma, nature and the divine, identity and self-realization and all the characters and trappings that serve as both support and obstacles.
