Events coming up in Week 9:


1) Register for Honors Classes (some space available)

2) Women's History Month: Shouldn't it be Herstory Month! Starts March 5th

3) 4th Annual Ethnic Studies Summit on March 5th

4) Student input needed to improve signs and wayfinding on campus!

5) Sign up to go to Berkeley free in a bus on Saturday April 26th for the Honors Symposium and fun day.

6) Finish the last of those transfer applications!

7) If you are getting an AA-T please petition for Graduation Now!!! This is essential if you are transferring to a Cal-State because it guarantees admission! You have until March 15th.

8) Also get a head start on your Honors Scholar Certificate request, it's due by June 1st, but if you get it done earlier it'll be on your transcript earlier. See Link Here. We will celebrate this on Transfer Night.

Join us for our Women’s History Month Opening Ceremony as we welcome special guest speaker, Jamie Cutino.

'Outsmart Imposter Syndrome Keynote & Workshop' - Join Jamie Cutino for an energizing session aimed at dismantling imposter syndrome and unlocking your potential. In her keynote, Jamie shares her transformative journey and practical tips for building resilience and confidence. The follow-up workshop provides hands-on strategies to develop your personalized success blueprint, helping you to achieve your academic and personal goals.

Complimentary food and refreshments will be provided. Please note this is a two-hour event with an inspiring keynote the first hour following with the workshop portion for the second half.

ETHNIC STUDIES SUMMIT

Theme: Immigration, Resistance & Hope

We are excited to host Yosimar Reyes as our keynote speaker for the 4th Annual Ethnic Studies Summit. He is a poet and performer from East San Jose with roots in Guerrero, Mexico, who gained early recognition for his impactful spoken word, such as his one-man show Prieto. He is the first undocumented poet laureate of Santa Clara County. Join us for a day to celebrate and learn about Ethnic Studies!

The Bay Area Honors Symposium


The Bay Honors Research Symposium gives students the opportunity to spend a day at Berkeley and see in scholarly research in a variety of disciplines. Come with us to Berkeley! It's free.


The Honors Institute will pay Reg Fees of $50, plus take you there in a bus. It is amazing to be able to meet a community of like-minded scholars.
