We are thrilled to share that Beyond the Dust – A Tourism Conservation Success Story has been awarded Gold in the Wildlife & Conservation Films category at the International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA) 2025, held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Selected from 448 entries across 60 countries, the film was recognised for its powerful storytelling and visual portrayal of Onguma’s ongoing commitment to conservation and sustainable tourism. In response to your valuable feedback – and with Namibia remaining a top destination – Onguma Trails Camp continues to attract travelers seeking an intimate, on-foot safari experience in a pristine big game reserve.
To offer greater flexibility, we have removed all set departures . This change is designed to better accommodate last-minute bookings and tailor-made itineraries.

The Trails Camp experience still requires a minimum 2-night stay, with the option to extend to a 3rd night.
Onguma Trails Camp is all about walking safaris, so pairing it with a camp that offers game drives, photography hides, or a more luxurious stay would give you a well-rounded experience.
Each camp has its own charm, depending on whether you want luxury, adventure, or a mix of both.
