We have a new website! Go check it out now!
We are still adding to it. It is a work in progress, but already SO much better than our old one! Please communicate information about groups, especially cancellations or changes as well as any details you'd like published as soon as you can possibly get them to us so that we can keep the calendar current. Call the church office or email us with group information OR anything else you'd like to see on the website.

The SOUPER BOWL is coming!
We will be collecting cans of soup from now until the actual Super Bowl on Sunday, February 13th. We will have bins labeled "Bengals" if you're cheering for the Cincinnati Bengals, one labeled "Rams" if you're pulling for Los Angeles AND we will also have 2 other bins; one for those of you excited about the halftime show OR the commercials labeled "Half Time/Commercials" AND another for those who "Don't Care" at all about the Super Bowl but have giving hearts. These will go to feed hungry bellies in need.

We are called as United Methodists to serve in different ways. We have MANY ways you can serve right now and we need volunteers. How are you helping to bring Jesus to people who desperately need to feel his love? How are you helping grow disciples for Christ? Call the office and let us help find a place for you to serve within the church or community today!

Our Quilting Groups are absolutely incredible! We are so blessed to have such a talented, giving bunch here at Hood UMC! They received a wonderful Thank You card from Victory Mission this week for their commitment, time and heart for their mission. The Hood UMC Quilters donated 37 blankets for those needing them. WOW! Great job!

We just want to take a minute to spotlight the Hood United Methodist Men's group for a moment. On Saturday, February 12th, they are going to begin some projects here at church and we will all benefit from their hard work as the church. If you would like to help, they will begin at 8am that day or you can speak with Rick Geiger about joining. THANK YOU SO MUCH, GUYS!

See you at church on Sunday!
Positivity numbers have started declining, so let's try this again.
If you feel well enough to come to church and if you feel safe doing so, we will be having services and Sunday School as usual this Sunday, February 6th. We welcome the wearing of masks, but do not require them. Please check with your Sunday School class leader if there are questions there.
