🌟🎨 LIM|NAL: An Ode to Local Artists and Performers

The Galleries in Downtown Concord will run their latest exhibition, "LIM|NAL: The Space Between,” from May 18 to July 22, 2023.


The Cabarrus Arts Council has teamed up with guest curator and community art advocate, Katlyn Cornelius, who also goes by TuxedoKat! 🎩🐱 Together, they’ve orchestrated a captivating celebration of the diverse talents residing right here in Cabarrus County.

🍺 🎸 Craft Beer & Country Music Festival at the Ballpark

Cabarrus County, start your taste buds!


Get ready for a wild ride of beer, country music, and NASCAR with the Michael Waltrip Brewing Craft Beer & Country Music Festival at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis on May 25th at 7pm!


Here are the highlights:


🎤 Performances by country music stars Jerrod Niemann and Love and Theft, along with guest songwriters.


🍺 Sample a variety of regional craft beers, including specialty brews from Michael Waltrip Brewing Co.


🇺🇸 The festival supports CreatiVets, a non-profit organization that helps disabled veterans cope with service-related trauma through various forms of art.


🎟️ Early-bird ticket and beer passport packages start at $30 and include general admission and four beer-tasting pours. 👑 VIP packages are also available, giving you early admission, access to the premium Kinetic Club, and a private meet and greet with Michael Waltrip.

🦋 Wings to Soar Camp Happening June 26-29th

Camp offers a journey through grief for children and teens dealing with the loss of a loved one.


This special day camp is organized annually by Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County and provides a safe and supportive environment for participants to express their feelings, share their experiences, and learn coping strategies.


🌈🤝 Campers participate in art sessions, trips to the splash pad, and a ballpark tour while forming meaningful connections with peers and staff, fostering a sense of community.


Thanks to generous donors, the camp is offered at no cost. The program is open to all, regardless of hospice service usage. Visit their website for application info.

This award-winning BBQ competition team is now selling their prepared smoked meats, sauces, and rubs packaged to take home, heat, and eat!


  • They specialize in pulled pork, ribs, chicken wings, smoked meatballs, and brisket queso along with their homemade BBQ sauce and K.I.S.S. rubs.


Founder Kenner Kee is a seasoned pitmaster with a unique fusion of Texas and NC BBQ, and he sources their meats from local farms and then cooks them to perfection.

👨‍🍳 Chef Bob from Table 11 Restaurant is offering 6 sessions of Kid's Summer Cooking Camp for kids ages 9-13!
