Hope!!! 12/22/21

⁶  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

²⁴  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

²⁵  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

“FOR WE ARE SAVED BY HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Have I told YOU lately that I love you?????

As this year (20210 rapidly approaches its conclusion, my heart is filled this morning with praise and gratitude!!

Every year I wonder IF and when the “Christmas spirit” will hit me-I believe it is this morning!!

I AWOKE (Praise the Lord for awakening again) to a BEAUTIFUL Spring like day here in SOUTHERN McDonough.

Yesterday was one of the worst, though typical MISERABLE day of Georgia winter-WET, MILDLY COLD AND GENERALLY MISERABLE!!

BUT today is another NEW day!!

²¹  This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

²²  It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

²³  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

The Bible, very accurately describes life thus:

⁴  For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

There's that Word again-HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In just a couple of hours we will meet via telemedicine our new neurologist for little Amanda as we continue to HOPE and PRAY for her complete HEALING and an improvement in her existence-Can you believe it has been 20 years since she encountered her brain injury!!??

The BIRTH of that little Baby-THE LORD JESUS CHRIST-is the very definition of HOPE.

2021 WAS a hard year for many, if not most of us, BUT it was also a great year for all of us to be alive!!!

Babies were born, new jobs and new homes were acquired and those of us who remain ALIVE press onward and upward, filled with the thrill of KNOWING that our “REDEEMER LIVETH!!!!!!!!!!!!”

²⁵  For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

On a personal note, I have FINALLY recovered from my illnesses of 2021 and am LOOKING FORWARD eagerly to 2022 as a NEW YEAR of great HOPE!!!

With this letter I HOPE to shut down for the Christmas Celebration and spend the rest of this week resting in this BLESSED HOPE OF CHRISTMAS.

I PRAY this letter reaches YOU in this BLESSED HOPE and my wish/PRAYER is that YOU have a safe and BLESSED rest this season above all seasons-
