A RAINBOW OF HOPE

Help Us Light Up The Lives of Our Neighbors

As we enter November, we're reminded that the holiday season is just around the corner. This time of year is about coming together, showing gratitude, and spreading kindness. At MANNA, we believe that together, we can be a rainbow of hope in the storm.

Just like the vibrant colors of a rainbow emerge after the darkest of storms, we have the power to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors who are facing adversity. Your support can light up the lives of those who need it most, especially during this season of giving.

This season, there are so many ways to get involved and contribute to the mission of ending hunger in Western North Carolina.

As always, volunteers are the lifeblood of our mission. Give of your time and make a tangible impact. Join us at the food bank, help with food distribution, or support our programs that empower our neighbors to thrive. Get involved here.

Host a food drive. Now is the perfect time to call for your community to come together and support our neighbors. For more information on how to run a successful food drive, please see this page.

And finally, multiple partners are providing ways to contribute with ease:

  • The Fresh Market: November 1-December 31, round-up campaign at the register.
  • TJX Annual Help Stop Hunger campaign: November 3-5, asking for donations at the register.
  • Publix Feeding More Together campaign: November 8-19; collecting donations at the register.
  • Food Lion Feeds: November 8-December 12, donate at register or purchase a holiday box that will be given to MANNA.
  • Crate & Barrel: November 16-December 26, asking for donations at the register.
  • Jersey Mike's: November 18-19, 20% of sales will go to MANNA.

HELP FILL HOLIDAY TABLES!

In-Person and Virtual Giving Options

This holiday season, MANNA is dedicated to filling as many holiday tables as possible, and you can help us give thousands of households the gift of a holiday, of one less struggle, and a helping of hope.

This year we have two options for donations: an in-person donation this Saturday (November 4th) and an ongoing virtual turkey drive.

In partnership with Asheville Radio Group and Asheville Outlets, MANNA will be hosting a community-wide turkey drop-off drive!

Turkey Drive Drop Off

Saturday, November 4

10AM - 2PM

Asheville Outlets

Bring a bird and any non-perishable holiday sides to help feed a neighbor. You’ll be able to drive through and drop your donations without even leaving your car!

If you can't make it Saturday, we still happily welcome donations through our Virtual Turkey Drive. We are also accepting donations in-person at MANNA.

Please note: if you would like your donations to reach a family for Thanksgiving, all food donations must be received by November 10th. Food drop-offs can be received at MANNA FoodBank, 627 Swannanoa River Road in East Asheville, Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.

Together, we can make the holidays happen for the people who live and work right here at home, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
