Volunteer Spotlight

Thank you Anaheim District Nazarene Work and Witness Team

Fourteen volunteers from churches in the Anaheim District, led by District Missionary President Jan Anderson Stone, took a Work and Witness trip to Hope Harbor. The hard-working team installed 450 pickets in 8’ fences, built three planter boxes, mowed 3 acres of field and yard, hung swings and built a playground that was donated by the school district head start program. The team also painted and filled 30 welcome blessing bags for the women and children who will live here and a retired architect made drawings to use for promotions. The value of their labor was approximately $14,000. We are grateful beyond words for the gift and blessings of the hard work, and the faithful support and encouragement. Please enjoy the video below of their trip.
