Help Build Hope Harbor!
The building is ready for remodel! Please help us build the apartments for women with children who need a hope and healing. We will need building materials and volunteers to help. This building will provide apartments for 3 families of women with children and one staff apartment. Phase 2 will provide 18 duplexes on the same property.
Lantern Walk with Flying J Wranglers
A big thanks to the Flying J Wranglers for entertaining at the Lantern Walk April 7, 2019 at Wingfield Park, Ruidoso. It was a huge success. Excellent entertainment, hot chocolate, s'mores, lanterns and a luminaria lined walk provided the crowd with inspiration and enthusiasm. Special speakers Undersheriff Mike Wood and Representative Zack Cook gave passionate appeals for support. Thank you to all who came out and all who made this event possible!
BSA Troop 59 and Eagle Scout Landscaping Project
Alex Demiter , Eagle Scout candidate and Troop 59 completed a landscaping project at the Hope Harbor building and grounds. Thanks to Keith Roberts , Hope Harbor Coordinator and Dana Lenzo , Scoutmaster for leading this outstanding improvement to the land on April 6, 2019. Congratulations on your achievements Alex and thank you Troop 59!
DA sponsored Violent Crime Victims Week Event
District Attorney John Suggs invited us to share about Hope Harbor and partner with other agencies at the Crime Victims Week event at the Convention Center April 12, 2019. Thank you DA Suggs!

MISSION
The mission of Hope Harbor is to offer a Christ-centered program of hope, healing, and supportive guidance for women and children escaping domestic violence.
This up to two-year program offers safe housing, life-skills training, counseling and the opportunity for further education to promote financial stability.
Memorials
When someone close to you goes home to be with the Lord you may want to make a meaningful gift to honor them. Through Memorial Gifts to Hope Harbor their memory can continiue to impact lives for Jesus Christ. You will receive an acknowledgement of your gift and the family of the person remembered will receive a note that there was a gift in their loved one's memory or honor with no mention of the amount. Their memory will continue to bless and bring hope to others. Gifts may also be made in honor of loved ones special occasions.These living gifts will be listed in future newsletters periodically.
