29 Beagles, One Incredible Second Chane

Over Mother’s Day weekend, Priceless Pet Rescue welcomed 29 retired laboratory beagles into our care after a 1,600-mile journey made possible through our incredible partnership with Kindness Ranch Animal Sanctuary.

These sweet dogs spent the beginning of their lives in a laboratory environment and are now getting their very first taste of the things every dog deserves — soft beds, sunshine, toys, belly rubs, fresh air, and unconditional love. While many are still learning how to simply “be dogs,” their resilience and gentle spirits have already touched our hearts in ways we can’t fully describe.

Watching them cautiously experience kindness, comfort, and freedom for the first time is both emotional and inspiring. Every tail wag, every curious sniff, and every moment of trust reminds us why rescue matters.

These beagles are now beginning their journey toward healing and happily ever afters, but their care comes with significant medical and rehabilitation needs. From veterinary care and vaccinations to supplies, transportation, and ongoing socialization, the road ahead requires continued support from our community.

Meet Apollo ❤️🤍🐾

Apollo is a handsome red and white Husky mix who is looking for a new forever home through no fault of his own—his family sadly had to move out of the country. This sweet boy has a gentle heart and would thrive with a patient, understanding family, ideally with older children who can respect his boundaries.

Apollo loves his toys and takes them very seriously, so he prefers to enjoy them on his own rather than share. He’s also a big fan of going for walks and is always excited to get out and explore with his people. With time, consistency, and love, Apollo will make a loyal and affectionate companion for the right home.

Send Shere Khan Some Love 💕

Meet Shere Khan 🐾

Shere Khan is a 15-year-old senior gentleman with a gentle soul and so much love still to give. He came to us after the passing of his owner, and through no fault of his own, suddenly found himself needing a new place to land during his golden years.

This sweet boy is currently living in foster care while we search for a loving adopter or long-term foster who can give him the comfort and stability he deserves. Shere Khan is in the early stages of kidney disease and eats a prescription kidney diet to help keep him feeling his best.

Despite all the changes in his life, Shere Khan remains incredibly loving and affectionate. He absolutely adores chin scratches, face rubs, and quiet companionship. With his soulful eyes and calm demeanor, he has a way of quietly stealing hearts.

Senior cats like Shere Khan ask for very little — a cozy place to rest, gentle affection, and someone willing to love them through their golden years. In return, they offer unconditional love and companionship that is truly special.

We know there is someone out there with a heart big enough to give Shere Khan the peaceful, loving home he deserves. 🧡🐱
