July Recap 2026

Dear Friends,

When outside is feeling hot, hot, hot - I love being with the coolest club in town!

July was packed with energy and connection at Hope Haven. Our members and volunteers shared countless joyful moments, from our Wimble"fun" tennis tournament and World Cup matches to roping "bulls" with the pre-K kids during Wild Wild West day. We explored local wildlife with naturalist Cathy Sakas and even took an armchair trip to France, complete with gourmet cuisine.

While our daily activities keep members engaged, we are equally committed to wrapping our arms around our caregivers. You give tirelessly all day, every day, and you are truly amazing. To help make your journey easier, we aim to connect you with valuable local resources. Along with our monthly caregiver support group, we held our quarterly education event this month: Demystifying Dementia, presented by Jill Costello of the Edel Caregiver Institute. If you weren't able to attend, we have linked the video below.

We are so grateful for our vibrant community and the privilege of walking alongside both our members and their families.

With gratitude,

Cathy Baxter
