March 2026

Dear Friends,

With the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day still fresh in the air here in Savannah, I’ve been reflecting on just how lucky I am. Hope Haven is more than just a program; it is a community built on the devotion of our caregivers, the positive energy created when our members and volunteers fill the room, and the prayers and support of our donors and friends. I feel incredibly fortunate to have forged so many wonderful new friendships this past year and look forward to their continued growth.

With gratitude,

Cathy Baxter

VOLUNTEERS, IT'S ALMOST APRIL.

PLEASE SIGN UP FOR APRIL SHIFTS!

Volunteers,

It was such a joy to celebrate you at our Volunteer Appreciation event. Having you all together in one room was truly special. Your gift of service is a beautiful reflection of God’s love—quiet, steady, and selfless. Every day you show up allows us to continue caring for our members living with dementia and walking alongside their families in meaningful ways.

A heartfelt congratulations to the 10 volunteers who earned the Superstar Award for 100+ hours of service in our first year, and to the 9 volunteers who received the Bright Light Award for 50+ hours. What an incredible impact you have made already.

As our ministry continues to grow, so does the need for volunteers. We are currently serving 10 families and already have a waiting list on Tuesdays. Because of this, we are in need of additional Companion Crew volunteers. If you feel called, we would love for you to consider serving on a recurring basis. We also invite you to encourage friends or family members with a heart for service to attend our upcoming volunteer training at the end of April. Thank you for all you do.

Stacey Wells captured some great moments during our reception.
