Dear Friends,
As we observe Memorial Day this month, our thoughts naturally turn to the concept of service. At Hope Haven, we are reminded every day that service takes many forms, and we see it beautifully reflected in every corner of our community.
We see it in our devoted family caregivers, who serve their loved ones with boundless patience and love. They also serve each other, acting as trusted friends and confidants who take the time to listen to and support fellow caregivers on this shared journey.
We see it in our wonderful volunteers, whose dedicated hearts and hands bring so much joy, energy, and connection to our program. And we see it in our members, who always look for ways to give back and help. Whether they are pitching in to distribute balloon volleyball paddles, encouraging a friend with an art project, or enthusiastically applauding a peer's strike during bowling, they remind us that everyone has something valuable to share.
Service isn’t just an action here; it’s a reflection of how deeply we care for one another. Thank you to our caregivers, volunteers, and members for the unique ways you serve, belong, and make Hope Haven a family.
With gratitude,
Cathy Baxter
