November 2025

This season of Thanksgiving reminds me just how much there is to celebrate at Hope Haven. Our amazing members continue to inspire me every single day, our volunteers generously serve with joy and positive energy, our caregivers faithfully bring their loved ones and fill our space with love and dedication, and our donors believe in our mission and make our work possible. None of this could happen without each of you, and I am truly grateful.

Over the past few weeks, it was such fun to step outside our regular schedule to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. It was a joy spending the morning with our members and their families, and we were all excited to bring home our first trophy for Largest Team! Hope for the Holidays was another great event, offering meaningful resources for caregivers and connection with community partners who share our mission of serving those living with dementia.

Lastly, I am excited to announce a $15,000 Match Challenge from the Critz Family. All donations made through December will be matched dollar for dollar, helping provide strong and sustainable support for 2026. I will be updating our progress each week on our Facebook page, so please share and help spread the word.

As Thanksgiving approaches, I hope your holiday is filled with peace, laughter, and those simple moments that matter most,

HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS

If you missed our caregiver event last week, good news - we recorded it!

CLlCK TO WATCH Alexis Williams from the Alzheimer's Association as she shares practical tips to help caregivers make the holiday season joyful — not stressful.

Highlights:

• Traditions can change — it’s okay if things look different this year.

• Talk with family and friends ahead of time so everyone knows what to expect.

• Accept help — from loved ones or professionals who can lighten your load.

• Know your and your loved one’s triggers, and avoid unnecessary stress.

• Above all, give yourself grace.

We hope this video provides helpful resources and encouragement to support a peaceful and meaningful holiday season.
