A Message from Our Co-Founders

To our dear friends and supporters of Hope Hollow,

We write today with hearts full of joy and gratitude as we share the incredible impact of our May 3rd fundraising event, "An Evening of Hope."

Friends old and new joined us for an inspirational evening, anchored by stories from the patients and families we serve. Thank you to Kathy, Lisa, and Jenny, whose stories grounded us in the reality of the cancer journey for both patients and their loved ones.

Partners from our region's leading medical institutions spoke to our critically important collaboration to serve the whole patient, lifting the human spirit during times of immense hardship.

Volunteers greeted everyone with a smile and ensured that the evening went smoothly and was enjoyed by all. Emcee Mindy Drayer wrapped our evening in her signature warmth and care. Donors provided delightful silent and live auction packages that resulted in increased support for the cancer patients we serve.

Thanks to all of you... volunteers, supporters, advocates, friends, and donors.... "An Evening of Hope" raised critically important operating funds in a time of ever-increasing need. In 2025, we received over 2,000 referrals, which was an increase of over 50% from the previous year. And already in the first six months of 2026, we have received over 1,100 referrals, putting us well on pace to eclipse last year's record-setting number.

When a community gathers with compassion, hope grows. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the successful return of our signature event, and thank you for joining us to shine the light of hope on the cancer journey of those we serve.

With love and gratitude,

Jane Jacquemin-Clark and Kevin Clark

Kathy's Story of Hope

In this video, debuted at "An Evening of Hope", Kathy shares the story of the aftermath of her husband Vaughn's diagnosis with Stage 4 cancer.

"These donations have helped so many people who had nowhere else to turn. Without Hope Hollow and Kevin and Jane, I wouldn't have made it through."

"Where we come from, you just didn't believe people when they come up and say they want to help. The nurses started talking to me about my sleeping in the truck in the garage and how dangerous.... The next think I know my phone was ringing and it happened to be Jane from Hope Hollow. You never get something for nothing. but the more she talked, I knew she was serious. Then her husband called and they asked me what I needed... and within 5 minutes they had me a room. They were worried about my health, my wellbeing, my mental health, and they were there."

Partners in Hope

We are proud that our region's medical institutions stand by us as a partner in care and hope. Thank you to Dr. Kimryn Rathmell, MD, PhD, MMHC, CEO of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute for joining us at "An Evening of Hope".

"Hope Hollow really means that the community comes together to rally around our patients. It means that the care extends beyond the clinic, and patients get better because all the services they need are available to them. That kind of access, that kind of community support, that's what really resonates the most with me about Hope Hollow."
