A Message from Our Co-Founders

To our dear friends and supporters of Hope Hollow,

The fall season has arrived and the days are growing shorter. But even as the hours of sunlight dwindle away, the light of hope continues to grow and shine brightly... all because of your devotion to the cancer patients we serve at Hope Hollow.

The light of hope is foundational to every cancer journey. It says:

We see you...

We honor your experience with cancer...

There is a community who cares about you...

You are not alone.

This message has not changed in all the years of Hope Hollow's existence. Light has remained a powerful symbol of hope. But the demand for Hope Hollow's services continues to grow, and the need for Hope Hollow is ever greater. That's why, this fall, as we begin our “Give the Gift of Hope” fundraising campaign that will support our 2027 budget, we have chosen the symbol of the Marblehead Lighthouse to complement our logo of the candle in a window.

As lighthouses cut through thick fog and midnight storms, they transcend their structures to symbolize hope, guidance, safety, and strength. They serve as steady beacons that pierce through darkness and navigate treacherous waters, reminding us that no matter how violent the storm, a way forward can always be found.

When a community gathers with compassion, hope grows. Join us to create a beacon of light that will shine on the cancer journey of those we serve.

With love and gratitude,

Jane Jacquemin-Clark and Kevin Clark

"Give the Gift of Hope"

Our Annual Fundraising Campaign

The "Give the Gift of Hope" fundraising campaign plays a fundamental role in establishing our yearly budget and capacity to serve cancer patients in need... and the need is ever-growing.

In 2025, Hope Hollow received over 2,000 requests to support people in need... an increase of 53% from 2024.

In 2026, Hope Hollow is projected to receive over 3,000 requests to support people in need.

Lisa's Story of Hope

In this video, presented at our May event, "An Evening of Hope", Lisa shares the story of her journey with cancer. Lisa and her husband also carry the burden of homelessness, and Lisa says that without the support that Hope Hollow provided, it would have been impossible for her to complete her necessary cancer treatment.

"I just wouldn't have gotten my treatment. At least not at that time I needed it, if not for Hope Hollow. It's a beautiful thing."

"When I was diagnosed with cancer... my husband and I had been homeless for about two years. Jane... just took care of everything. We told her our story and she just called right back like "Okay, we are setting you up." And they went above and beyond. It was for pretty much all of the appointments that I had to be at and then for the five weeks of treatment and then a little time to recoup before we moved on. They have gone above and beyond helping with groceries, helping with just checking in."

Hope Hollow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to offer welcome, hospitality and hope by providing lodging, meals, transportation assistance and emotional support …at no cost… to cancer patients and their loved ones, who are financially in need, while receiving cancer treatment in Columbus, Ohio.
