A Message from Our Co-Founders

To our dear friends and supporters of Hope Hollow,

Spring is nearly upon us, and we have so much to look forward to... like longer, sunnier days and the warmth that brings forth the season's first blooms.

This spring, in particular, brings a very special moment for Hope Hollow. We eagerly anticipate the return of our signature fundraiser, "An Evening of Hope," on Sunday, May 3rd.

"An Evening of Hope" was held each year from 2016 to 2019, and thanks to all of you, it was always an unforgettable event that brought together the Hope Hollow community... our incredible volunteers, our friends, our donors, and patients and their loved ones whom we serve. We are thrilled to once again host this inspiring gathering, during which we will share stories of the sacred ground we walk upon with those we serve each day, and raise needed funding that enables Hope Hollow to provide welcome, hospitality, and hope to persons while on their journey with cancer.

We look forward to sharing "An Evening of Hope" with you, and we invite you to join us to shine the light of hope on the cancer journey of those we serve.

Elijah's Light of Hope

In 2020, 3-year-old Elijah and his family traveled to Columbus from Texas so that he could receive the best possible treatment for his brain cancer at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Hope Hollow provided support for Elijah and his family as they sought life-saving treatment that was only available to him here in Columbus!

Now, in 2026, we are overjoyed to share with you that Elijah has completed his five-year post-treatment MRI.... and it was clear! This is a major step forward, giving Elijah and his family a renewed sense of hope.

For families like Elijah's, the gift of your generosity and kindness provides a true light of hope on their cancer journey.... and when we see Elijah's healthy smile, we receive the gift of a light of hope in return!

Hope Hollow is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to offer welcome, hospitality and hope by providing lodging, meals, transportation assistance and emotional support …at no cost… to cancer patients and their loved ones, who are financially in need, while receiving cancer treatment in Columbus, Ohio.
